The Ancra 6mm Lever Loadbinder with Grab Hooks is a simple, fast chain tensioner that uses a long lever to multiply the operator's effort and lock 6mm Grade 70 transport chain in place. A full 180-degree rotation of the lever takes up slack in the chain and snaps the binder into the locked position, ready for transit. Lever loadbinders are quicker to operate than ratchet versions, but they store energy in the lever once tensioned, so they require care to release — operators should use a release bar or winch bar rather than their hand. Winged grab hooks on each end seat onto chain links with cradles on both outer jaws that prevent chain deformation and preserve full lashing capacity. Manufactured from steel with a powder-coated blue finish for corrosion resistance, it carries a 2,300kg lashing capacity and is built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001.
