Made in the USA. Buyers Products SaltDogg Heavy Duty Hydraulic Under Tailgate Spreader is the perfect way for contractors and municipalities to convert their dump trucks into winter warriors. It can handle 3/8 in. gravel in addition to bulk sand, salt, and 50/50 salt/sand mixes. The spreader works with 96 in. wide dump bodies. The spreader is built to last with corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. It features an anti-flow plate and a hydraulic safety lockout. Its massive 9 in. auger with 3/8 in. flighting provides steady flow no matter what material you're spreading. The spreader includes an auger screen to help break up clumps and prevent jams and a hinged full-length trough for hassle-free cleaning. Spread material 2 to 40 ft (driver side discharge) with the 18 in. poly spinner. An optional berm chute (part #92451SS) is also available for passenger side discharge. A direct hydraulic drive system powers the auger and spinner's independent low-speed, high-torque orbital motors. It features a sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4 in. diameter bearing with grease fittings.
