The WESTERN® Model 1000 Low‑Profile 8.0 CuFt Salt Spreader is a single-stage, poly tailgate spreaders sit lower on trucks to deliver top spreader performance without affecting the operator's view from behind the wheel. Low-maintenance polyethylene hopper and 10" 1/3 hp electric spinner provide up to 30' spreading width. The Model 1000 tailgate spreader requires either a Class IV receiver hitch mount, OR a fixed bumper mounting system. The optional SWING AWAY® mount costs extra.
