The H14W winch must be mounted foot down to keep the contact faces of the worm gear under the oil level, this is to provide lubrication and, (possibly more important), to take heat away from the contact faces. Worm gear-sets are friction gears and can generate high temperatures at the contact faces, the lubricating oil will take most of the heat away from the contact faces.Especificaciones
